A day out

Museum and art gallery,
which is less than 5 minutes walk from Preston market.

National
Football Museum.
Preston North End Football
Club were founder members of the Football League.
However,
if this all seems to much like hard work why not take advantage of Preston
beauty and take a nice stroll to Beacon
Fell, on the northern outskirts of Preston, which was one of the first
ever Country Parks.
Preston
takes great pride in its people and celebrates its cultural diversity with
an all year round events programme which includes the colourful
Caribbean Carnival and the Preston Mela, Festival of South Asian Culture.
Wall St.
(now Squares), a themed pub set in a former bank building, had the
world’s first revolving 64-screen video cube suspended from the ceiling.
The
restaurant ‘Bistro French Live’ was featured in the Guiness
Book of Records as having the widest selection of wines and spirits in the
